About ARCsoft

The ARC Software Development Team (ARCsoft) operates within Research Computing Services at the University of Victoria. We are a small team assisting UVic researchers address their needs for research software.

We offer several models for helping researchers at UVic to realize their goals. We don’t have enough staff or time to write it all ourselves, but we do have knowledge and experience in developing software, managing software projects, and deploying it on modern platforms, as well as deep knowledge of the infrastructure resources available and a close integration with the experts who run some of Canada’s most advanced research computing platforms and services.
